when the only games on your platform are exclusives and usually only come to be via your direct involvement... you are bound to have good games. even though they may just be 4-6 of them per year. So yeah, you are right.

Come the PS4/XB1s second year though. They would blow the wiiU outta the water. Especially when you consider that outside their exclusives, every multiplat game for them is an exclusive for them cause they won't be on the wiiU.

Well they need to stay on the industry, and so far i admit i much prefer Nintendo keep on bringing the first party exclusive, while PS4 keep the balance between 1st party and 3rd party games. there is no need for others console beside PS4 and Wii U

This is Wii U's second year. So it is expected Wii U to have good support. We can compare next years PS4 / Xbox One support with this years Wii U support.

Pikmin 3 + SM3DW

There is nothing wrong with supporting multiple platforms.

Don't be salty that Nintendo does not have the funding to do so.

Xbox One and Nintendo have had a great year in terms of gaming. No idea about PS but from the looks of it, its been poor.

Regardless, Nintendo does not have many needed third parties, so in terms of games, XBO and PS4 have it beat easily.

Quality >>> Quantity. Though Multiplats had some good games this year for sure. Compare Soley on First Party games (or add in Complete exclusives), Does Nintendo come on top now???...... :P

Solely first party, probably yes.  I'd still take MCC and most multiplats over Wii U's first parties.

But Xbox had a great year for exclusives, much better than it has the past few years.

DKC Tropical Freeze is the most underrated game of the year. Some really awful reviews out there that make no sense to those of us who actually played it. Totally brilliant game, sadly missed by too many

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I actually believes Wii U has the problem of weak exclusives.

Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze - Most wanted a game like Metroid Prime that showcase Wii U's power and great implementation of the Gamepad in the Metroid gameplay's universe.
Mario Kart 8 - HD graphics, looks good, plays bad.
Bayonetta 2 - Good, niche.
Hyrule Warriors - Spin off.
I would say Smash for Wii U counts as well. - Good. Only big game this year (or at least it has the potential)

2013
Lego City - Lego game.
The Wonderful 101 - Good. Niche.
Super Luigi U - DLC
Pikmin 3. Good. Niche
The Wind Waker HD - Port/Remaster/Remake
Super Mario 3DWorld - Not the 3D Mario game we expected.

So far, exclusives are weak.

And the other consoles rely on third parties. It is bad to compare them. Even more the incredible Nintendo quality.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

★This is a terrible, beynd terrible answer. DK shouldnt be judged because its a game that many thought Retro was working on. Any Game that people consider it bad/etc based on not the franchise they wanted..... Uhhh -_-

Mario Kart 8 - HD graphics, looks good, plays bad.

★Good Try^ Definitely Best MK in the franchise and big step up from the worse console installment MKWii (this one is opinionated though)

Bayonetta 2 - Good, niche.

Hyrule Warriors - Spin off.

★ Spin offs = Weak Now? MK/Paper Mario and many others would like a word with you...

I would say Smash for Wii U counts as well. - Good. Only big game this year (or at least it has the potential)

2013
Lego City - Lego game. ★ No Comment
The Wonderful 101 - Good. Niche. ★ No Comment
Super Luigi U - DLC ★ DLC done right, but wished other games would follow.
Pikmin 3. Good. Niche ★ You call this niche but not Metroid? Kinda Biased
The Wind Waker HD - Port/Remaster/Remake ★ No Comment
Super Mario 3DWorld - Not the 3D Mario game we expected. ★ Your right, was much better than expected, especially afer the E3 trailer. So much Crow served last oct.

So far, exclusives are weak. ★No, not having Metroid/New Zelda  =/= Weak

And the other consoles rely on third parties. It is bad to compare them. Even more the incredible Nintendo quality. ★We are at an agreement here!!!

I have enjoyed my Wii U a lot, great console with awesome exclusives. Though, I do wish it had more third party.
