Why so? Like most people, I prefer having a large choice of 3rd party games than having to pick among a few exclusives

Don't feel bad about the truth, Tbone. DK could have the best DK game ever created, but most expected something that showed great gamplay and technical progress from one of the most talented Nintendo first party studios. DK is not. DK's fur is not exciting. Gameplay is nothing new.

And about 3DWorld, you know it and you keep denying it. You can't simply compare the impact of SMG to the one of 3DWorld. And almost everyone was expecting something that surprises and amazes people like SMG. 3DWorld was good, but nothing like SMG.

Not only that, but SM3DW, Pikmin 3 and W101 blow any 1st Party game of 2014 from PS4/XBO out of the water.

Wii U had better exclusives this year and in the first year of each console.

True. The 360 and PS3 has had a good year...

Now the next step is to address they released a new console last year.

Gameplay is nothing new but you want a New Galaxy game? C'mon DK:TF is a huge improvement over returns. 

I wanted Metroid as well, but that shouldnt get people mad at DK, especially when its WiiU's best 2D Platformer, arguably Best Nintendo 2D Platformer since the SNES.

Your opinion is noted on SM3DW, Still a great game, especially the multiplayer aspect of it. Galaxy is hard to top, and it did have a hard impct in platforming, do you expect every installmet to top the last, its impossible, especially with master pieces such as the galaxies. SM3DW shouldnt be downplayed because of galaxy, especially because it is still one of the greatest games of all time.

The sad thing is those exclusive what make me not wanting to buy the Wii U except for Xenoblade and Bayonetta 2.

No. I don't expected SMG3. I expected something good like going from Sunshine to Galaxy. Going from Galaxy to 3DWorld feels... not so good.

And about Metroid, nothing wrong with DK. It is wrong with Nintendo to sell us a $350 machine and expect us to play Returns HD. Metroid is just an example, it could have been a great new IP. I mean, Splatoon looked boring to me, but after the last direct announcement? That trailer of the story mode was soo good. It feels like something fresh, new, and looks great.
