Forums - Sony - LittleBigPlanet 3 Reviews Coming In! [MetaScore:79 out of 23 Reviews]

Lucy is getting a hate train on twitter for her review. People need to stop losing their crap over a review being lower than what they expected.

As sad as it is to say, it was probably expected. The internet is reactionary and with it being anonymous, people can get away with saying anything.

79 is decent, good even, but geez what a drop for LBP (anyone care to give me some of the complaints reviewers had? I can't be bothered to read the reviews). 2014 just isn't the year for PS4 exclusives, the scores they mostly got make it sometimes difficult to not think that some reviewers haven't gotten some sort of whichhunting agenda against the system at the top.

2015 will be better.

Game Breaking Bugs.

Skipping through the thread I thought that only IGN had those?

Yeah, I think IGN was the only one that mentioned it as a problem. The most common complaints I'm seeing are being leveled against the campaign and the co-op, both of which seem to be limited/restrictive.

It's going to get more hate than LBP and LBP2 without any legitimate reasons. We already knew that was going to happen, based on current trends in game reviewing.

or it just might not be a good game or lack luster.

either way though I'll be picking it up in the morning along with dragon age.

93* :p

Being serious though, I doubt it can surpass the 87 mark.

Hmmm..... On a serious note, i cant see this game getting under an 80. I definitely can see it above 87, but if i had to give a prediction estimate, i say 85-86.

That's funny, because the gaming media has never been more on Sony's side on the whole then they have been with the PS4 the last year. But how many medicore games can Sony put out and expect amazing reviews? The PS4's exclusives in the past year of Killzone SF, Knack, Second Son, and Driveclub have ranged from average to just plain bad. If those games were getting amazing reviews it would be blatantly obvious that critics were being paid off or caught up in deep, deep fanboy-ism. PS4 exclusives will start getting good reviews when a truly good one comes out. Like Resogun, which did get good reviews.

Yayaya, you do realize that that love has dwindled quite a bit in the last couple months, due to Sonys "weak holiday lineup". All I'm saying is that there are always individuals trying to push some agenda among reviewers, can't see why there shouldn't be some trying to push for "look how mediocre the PS4s holiday lineup is".

Those scores are not too bad, actually. I feel like once the novelty of the sharing features has passed, it's gonna be harder and harder for this franchise to get good scores.

This is what I expected to happen. The core gameplay was kind of average, the creation tool was new and amazing, resulting in it's high scores.

Damn, surprised to see it below 80. Still early though, it could swing upwards a few points as more reviews come in.

This just makes me more curious of exactly what games are going to be contending for the awards this season.

I'm surprised at how releasing buggy games is slowly becoming standard fare. WTH.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Didn't know that past LBP games got those high scores because their campaign was so good always thought it was due to the creation possibilities.

Looks like most of the criticism isn't a big deal. Most of the bugs will be patched by Christmas when I'm getting it and not taking advantage of co-op in SP just means there's more room for the true stars of LBP, the players who create online levels, to build those experiences! Sure it would be nice but now at least I can ace all the levels on my lonesome since co-op partners can be difficult to sync up playtime with.
