I have no clue how this game gets so much attention when only 50 people backed-it and there are five other clones being made.
Was it the first one announced or what?

I think there is already a 3DS clone released, and one of the WiiU clones has a holiday rls planned.

For the same reason other games that were undeserving of attention got attention in the past: Ammunition to prove how ungrateful Nintendo gamers are.

From most of what I have read about this game till now, it was Nimtemso sites and supporters saying -" look we are getting our own version of Minecraft- we don t need the actual". Otherwise this game would have rcvd zero attention - based on the guys history there was never a reason to hype this game so far

I don't get the point of this? PC will be dominated by the real Minecraft and all consoles except the Wii U have Minecraft. So the only real market this could succeed in is for the Wii U and 3DS.
