Well check how much XBO has sold since October started T_T

Has increased dramatically and also shipping to more countries like China I do not believed was in the announced 7.5 million shipped.

It was a general observation and not necessarily contained within this particular thread. If you want to deny that some people are now calculating potential XB1 sales on the 10 million shipped number then go ahead. I'm not being drawn into a finger pointing situation.

I love the fact that one company gives us a definite figure and some people question it but another company gives us ambiguous figures and the same people take the most optimistic estimate they can. Brilliant.

I am going to go out on a limb and say he is talking about you but has no evidence to prove you said something negative when sony announced 10m sold.  I don't know what you said then either but I bet you werent positive just by me reading this site about once a week and knowing your name and how you comment.  And I too like AN OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of this thread's posters believe its 8million and something and can't fathom how you believe they went from 7.4mm to 9.5mm so fast.  Its actually laughable you believe its at 9.5mm and 10mm (by now as you say).

But I agree he has no evidence that posters who disbelieved sony are in this thread.  However, who the heck cares about going back and finding previous post besides you and maybe another 5-10 forum dwellers who live to disprove people on here?

And actually, Major Nelsen didn't use the word "nearly". He said "approaching", which is an even more ambiguous term.

Classic misdirection. I thought this thread was about how meaningless MS PRdeliberating what 10 million shipped means. It means that in somepoint in the future, 10 million consoles will be shipped. Nearly implies soon, but soon and nearly aren't specific deadlines so it could take place any time.

It is not a predicate statement, or premise I sometimes get confused, because nearly/soon has no truth value.

That is why it is between 7.5m and 9.9m.

Nothing suggest over 9.5m btw.

Since the end of September they have sold through (according to VGC) over 1m consoles (likely 1.5m by the weekend just gone) and will have been stocking up for the coming holiday period.  its a certainty that they are on the cusp of 10m.  100% certainty.

PS. its million not millimetres.

If they're saying nearly 10 million, I think it's being blatantly dishonest if it's anything less than 9.5 million.
