Damn mute city really makes me want a new F-Zero game for the WiiU.

I haven't been online recently, what's changed? The last change to the VR system wasn't good.

Love it. The Egg Cup in particular is incredible and I love the Tanooki Kart as well as Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach.

I still don't think Link fits in the game but I do really like the Hyrule Circuit track, so... whatever.

So I was planning to play the two cups in 50 cc to get that gold trophy over with... But ended playing for 2 hour straight with time trials and online. Now i gotta study - something I should have done 2 hours ago v_v

Also I kept falling off Mute City just like I did in Sapphire cup in GX. Good times...

Currently at 1 1/2 hours straight of online MK8, wonder how much longer it will last... probably another hour or 2 depending on when dinner is tonight.

As someone with over 10 000 VR points racing against people averaging 5 000, first place in a 12 player race usually resulted in getting 7-8 points. Second place gave me 1-2 points, third place beween 0 to minus 3, last place around minus 35-40 etc. Making wins hardly matter while occassions of bad luck were insanely punishing. And it didn't even matter during the rare occassions where the average opponent was at around 8k, because a racer with 2k points less than yourself was treated like an opponent with 10k less, in terms of points distribution.

Now I only have to place about one or two places above half of the participants to gain points, and wins can once again give me over 20 points.
