Forums - Nintendo - Now that the new Assassins Creed game is just mediocre, will Ubisoft dump it on the Wii U as well and say "Your Welcome" to fans?

Nintendo doesn't need any of Ubisoft's Nuclear trash as Nintendo's making plenty of their own cash right now.

But I liked Rayman Legends and Child of Light.

No they'd prefer to put on Assasins Creed: Boom with metacritic score of 43% and it will be exclusive.

I think they should just have each yearly AC game on Wii U, or make a yearly exclusive one.

Prefervly start with AC Black Flag 2 or in East Eu sometime in history.

lol, that would be financial suicide.

They should hsupport the wii u as long as they support the PS3 and 360, rougue should have been on it. Really though, Ubi couldn't get Unity to run probably on the PS4, how much more resources would have required to manage a built that doesn't make the Wii U melt? Definitely not worth the effort going by past AC sales on Wii U

Is it selling so badly? Well...
Ubisoft may be in real trouble. The latest Just Dance game is not selling well, AC in a low tide....

I'd honestly prefer Prince of Persia, preferably a new Sands of Time game. Heck, you could just port over the 2008 reboot (which wasn't really bad at all) and I would take that over AC Unity.

I want a remake of Sands of Time/Prince of Persia collection for all consoles.

There's just one Ubisoft game that could be a million-seller: Beyond Good & Evil 2 (paired with an HD-Version of the original, just like Bayonetta 1/2). But that should better be named Beyond Duke Nukem ForNever. They say they still work on it, but I believe that's just random PR.

lol, I dare you, that unreleased, held-back Wii-U-Game is BG&E2. :X

That is why it is a perfect match! Wii U gets old ports or half assed games from third parties. That is why we should have gotten this, but not the new CoD.

That was one year ago reality.

Let's face the new reality. Wii U getting exclusives from Third Parties funded by Nintendo with 90+ metacritic score, that no one buys. And after that starts crying that U have no games.

That is more that I can agree about. Look at BAyo 2, all the new eshop releases that have been pretty high in quality but have hardly any miiverse posts... Look at SPikey Walls, it has thousands of posts and so does The Letter. But recent good games are being ignored due to price. Then we have Sonic, Lego Batman, Hyrule Warriors, etc.

Not that they have done badle, but 300 thousand for Bayo 2 is sad and Hyrule Warriors is not much better. DK TF? People only buy Nintendo and that is their downfall. That is why they should just make games for PC or something. That way neither Sony or Microsoft benefits.

From a business perspective, Nintendo going full Third Party and Mobile could make a TON of money for them, or also could be their downfall, if there is any quality drop. But the former is more likely, Nintendo would probably become the most importante developer in industry, since all their hardware investment would be turned to software only.

But, I don't think they are willing to do that, at least for one more gen, I think Nintendo will be the last one to support console, because probably the future is Streaming service.

But  I don't think Nintendo are loosing gamers, in reality they neve had them since the Snes, early N64 era. But nothing explains 300k for Bayonetta for example.
