"Have you ever wished your Wii U could play GameCube games? Not to emulate them, but to play your own collection of GameCube discs natively on its own hardware? Well, you're in luck, because a new homebrew tool allows you to do just that.

This application is called "Nintendont," and can be installed in the Wii Mode of your Wii U. Nintendont allows you to play GameCube games perfectly well on the Wii U, complete with emulated memory cards and customizable controls—and it even allows you to play your games with the Wii U Pro Controller, DualShock 3, and more!

Installing Nintendont may or may not have negative consequences; while Nintendo has taken no action against users yet, we know their homebrew policies to be very strict, and at the very least, installing Nintendont will void your system's warranty. But if you're still interested in learning how to install Nintendont and play three generations of Nintendo games on one console, you can learn all about it right here!"

Sorry, dolphin spoiled me.Can't stand jaggies anymore. I love playing my GC games at 1440p (downsampled to 1080p.) Still, it's nice to know.

Could this potentially damage my WiiU? My setup is a gamecube on top of the WiiU and I just switch between hdmi and the rca.

Thing is you cant play StarWars Rogue Leader on Dolphin. Some other games are also messed up. FZero GX is hit and miss when it comes to stability etc.


It will also make the games look better than ever before (without emulation) Since there is no digital game to analog output conversion.

Wii games also look better on WiiU (obviously only as good as 480p can be)
