Thing is you cant play StarWars Rogue Leader on Dolphin. Some other games are also messed up. FZero GX is hit and miss when it comes to stability etc.

That is a problem; a blazing fast 60fps is the beating heart of GX.

I dont think this will sit well with Nintendo as i'm sure they plan to release GC games on the eshop.

I'm not gonna take the chance until a bit in the future if Nintendo doesnt do anything about it.

Still boggles my mind how anyone at Nintendo/Sega could have thought that making a racing game NON-cinematic was a good idea :)

Nintendo cant do a thing about that because its purely Wii mode. They cant just go and patch Wiimote.  Nothing they can do software-wise will have an effect on that because WiiU cant access Wii mode and only WiiU mode can get updates.


Btw one of the biggest flaws of Dolphin is that Metroid Prime Trilogy runs like shit.

I run the trilogy at 59fps/1080p. Of course my cpu is a 4.5ghz(overclocked) dual core. Prime 3 is slower though, but if I run it at 720p I can get 59fps as well.

It will also make the games look better than ever before (without emulation) Since there is no digital game to analog output conversion.

Wii games also look better on WiiU (obviously only as good as 480p can be)


I don't have rogue leader. Will buy it and try it out.I have my Wii for the few games that don't work well on dolphin though. It is already there to give power to the sensor bar.

If Nintendo are bringing GCN games to eshop, they shouldn't have taken so long if they didn't want this to happen.
