The difference between F-Zero & Mario Kart is as wide as the difference between Metroid Prime & Call of Duty.

You already have Call of Duty for shooting, clearly there is no need for a new Metroid Prime

(Now you may have meant 2D platform adventure when you said Metroid, but my point still stands even if it doesn't directly relate to the games you want)

Maybe if we all buy the Captain Falcon Amiibo, Nintendo will notice how popular F-Zero is and make a new game?

I agree.  People need to stop asking for what they want!

Yeah, after the millionth time they should stop. These games would/will tank on the Wii U. Nintendo should focus on games that can sell at least one million copies.

i can only see a remake, if lucky...

for making a new game they need an new idea. If they find a new clever ideia they will spend on mario kart.

A good F-zero would be great. As would many other things. Maybe we'll get one in 2016.

A new F Zero is at the top of my wishlist of unannounced Wii U games. It's basically:

1) F Zero
2) Wave Truck (hybrid of Wave Race and Excite Truck/Bike)
3) Banjo Threeie

F Zero X is up there with Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Smash and Banjo as one of the games that defined the N64 and my childhood.

And as a 'pure' racer is doesn't need any gimmicks, X was already perfection in terms of gameplay. All it needs is to look and sound incredible, and maintain the feel of X in order to knock it out the park.

It could almost be a straight remake and it would be perfection. Add in online racing (imagine 32 players online...), tournaments, leagues etc. and it would be incredible.

Unfortunately I don't think it'll happen, although I suspect it'll be a launch title for Fusion (or whatever is next).
