It is because the base Xbox one bundle shows consumers that the AC bundle has "replaced" the base model. So it is considered the default SKU according to amazon.

That's what I'm thinking. BF is less than a week away, so I won't be surprised if that's the case. PS4 had a good previous week on Amazon and did well on other retailers, as well. I'm curious to see how BF turns out because releasing a bundle for the core audience and another for the family/casual audience is an interesting strategy.

I would not say it does not stand a chance. Some people are probably waiting for X1 deal on BF too |
The BF deal for the x1 is a $20 off on the already existing bundles. While for ps4 is 2 bundles with 2 free games each, one family oriented and one hardcore and neither is available yet and is the first true good bundle offered ever for the ps4. the next best thing was destiny $10 off, while the x1 has had many bundles ofering more then one game for free completly and was still being outsold. Can you honestly think people are waiting as much for the x1 then for the ps4 BF deals?
And just in case, I meant not stand a chance in black friday, the month could go either way, but I think the ps4 has it in the bag.

Not sure about that. The most don't even know about that bundles as of today.
The advertising (on the retailer hompages) hast just started. And the games are already out.
It will be diffrent than the sale behaviour of the white Destiny bundle. But the price will move many units on Black Friday.
The well informed comsumer will probably wait out. Not so much the random "ill get my child a consol for christmas buyer"

Playstation Blog has announced these bundles quite some time ago. Also, you'd be surprised at how many people are waiting for the Black Friday PS4 bundles as stated here by Abdiel (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=139580485&postcount=3804 ).

$329 - Xbox One + ACU + ACIV + $50 Target Gift Card or $30 Walmart Gift Card. Yup, I'd say that's a better deal.
