Xenoblade X looked cool. I'm still a little confused with how Earth fits into the Xeno Universe.

It's all splodey and stuff.

Well X is not killing FFXV soon with this downgrade... Might pick it up in Spring nonetheless.

Also KT is playing a very dangerous game : how DARE they make a 3DS Atelier!? Those guys would leave their costumers starving on the pavement for a Nintendo fat check! Unacceptable! I hope they have a SOLID PS line-up for Q2.

I have the damndest time figuring out when you're joking and when you're being perfectly serious.

There is no need for this. Xenoblade looks amazing all things considered. The world is be even bigger than the first game, the scale of the game is wonderful with some beautiful landscapes.

We, my friend, should be glad that this ambitious genre is getting real attempts to make high quality games despite the console that the game is on.

He needs to make himself feel better

Anywayz im very exciting for both games, XCX has this huge open world im waiting to explore, and imo FFXV looks to be just as great in terms of sheer gameplay (timewise/exploration). These titles are a no brainer for massive jrpg fans especially if you have both a wiiu and a ps4/x1 console.

Splatoon, Nintendo Direct, Majora's Mask, Pikmin and XCX trending on twitter.

Splatoon liked nice. The single player looked more platformy. Kind of reminded me of de blob. Sort of what Epic Mickey should have been where the ink/paint mechanic is woven into the gameplay.

I'm actually really excited Duck hunt will be on the VC. Since it won't work on modern TVs, this is really good news.

Xenoblade X looked cool. I'm still a little confused with how Earth fits into the Xeno Universe.

Other than that, it was kind of a dull direct. I guess you can't expect new titles so close to the end of the year, but I would have liked footage of Star Fox, Giant Robot, and such.

Did you play xenoblade?

Not in a while... but... *spoilers*

The impression I got was that Zanza and Mayneth's experiment wound up destroying the universe and giving rise to the Xenoblade world.  I admit I might have gotten that wrong.  The ending kind of throws a lot out there.

Atelier for 3DS? Any gameplay footage?

Just a bunch of screenshots.

I was really hoping for n64 VC... Majora's mask was awesome though, first time Nintendo listens to it's fans confirmed?

Correct, though you really should have spoiler tagged it. ;)

Don't take things literally! I guess there are never enough Rainbows in Mario Kart.

Uh yeah you are supposed to take everything literally unless given a reason otherwise! Anywho, what those other unveiled tracks are I couldn't tell at first glance. That China looking one is definitely the last Nitro, so the other two must be Retros.

The Chinese one didn't look that exciting. But what other two? I only remember one additional ice one.

So Nintendo is repeating their mistakes they made in 2014 with Wii U game lineup in 2015,only having one title for Spring 2015

I thought they said no more droughts like last time lol

They say that every year, and it's always a lie. They just don't learn.

Yeah its pretty sad, they have 12 games in development currently(confirmed) and they cant get stuff like Splatoon and Yoshi's Wooly World out in early/first half of 2015? thats just...sad

then Xenoblade Chronicles X went from being a 2014 title, to now its  not even a solid  2015 title and just be ''targeted'' thats just... damn

Nintendo is going to have like 1 game in 6 months again like this year o.O

Yeah, Nintendo's inability to deliver games in a timely fashion this gen is continuing to hamstring any opportunity they have to gather momentum.

There's no good reason for games like Yoshi and Mario Maker not to be out in Q1. We saw gameplay footage of Yoshi in January of 2013 for Pete's sake, and any decent studio could have cobbled Mario Maker together in a few months.
