Kirby in (original) Smash Bros. for me.
With people mentioning Meta Knight it looks like I have a lucky hand with Smash Bros. characters as I've picked Kirby from the very first minute without knowing he's crazy and Meta Knight on Brawl from the very first minute (I haven't played much of Brawl, though).
Siegfried from SoulCalibur.
All you have to do with him is spam the Y-button and whack everyone with his huge sword and be done with it. Sure, there's other characters in the game that are equally or maybe even more powerful (Nightmare, Astaroth), but Siegfried is also just fast enough to keep your opponent from recovering in time to hit you.

Not even the most op character in BB history... Remember Vanilla Nu, Vanilla Rachel, CS1 Bang, CS1 Makoto, CS1 Valkenhayn? Why do i even play this game still? Anyway, a lot of fighting games are much more broken. ST Akuma and Marvel Vs Capcom MSS or Phoenix in MVC3 to name a few.
Asuka from Tekken, not because she is quick or has amazing attacks, just that one counter move stance. (Back + Throw), she can be in the middle of a combo you blocked entirely, then you instantly counter only for you to be in a throw because she can pull it off that quickly apparently and it's near impossible to get out of.
Okay so not that OP but for Tekken standards it is.

Funny thing is, spamming the Y-button during Siegfried's ending in Soul Edge unlocked his alternate ending xD
