MGS The Legacy Collection is the best value!!!

Still doesn't have online so I'm not sure about that.

online has nothing to do with value.  see my above post

Yes, it does even though I'm not much of a online person.  Online play can add hundreds of gameplay hours to a game and adds replay value.  Only games that don't have online that come close to games that have online when it comes to replay value are RPG's.

I disagree.  I get way more out of cinematic experiences as far as replayability than any online centric title i've played.  I agree RPGs tend to have a lot as well

Really?

One is a single player hack-and-slash series, while another is a multiplayer focused first person shooter series. They go for completely different audiences. Which one has more value is going to determined by individual preference for multiplayer shooters or single player hack-and-slash. Pointless comparison.

Original thought. Halo for me. Why? I like Halo more than GoW. Simple. Perceived value by number of games, frame-rate, resolution, etc. means nothing more than the fact that I like Halo more than GoW. And I'm sure most people who prefer GoW to Halo would say that the GoW saga has more value to them for the exact same reason.

I'm going to assume this is a joke thread.

But as far as cinematic experience go Halo is right up there and I only played through the single player campaign of Halo 2 so I probably missed a lot of great cinematic moments that are in the other three games that are in the collection.

Somewhat.  I just hate how much is being made about MCC when I believe there are many collections of similar value out there.  Is it a great value?  Sure it is, but it's not unheard of.

And you think GOW is on the same level as Halo?

The God of War Saga is by far one of the best collections out there. God of War defines the word 'epic' in every way shape and form. The boss battles in God of War set the standards for video games during that time period and I was fortunate to pick up a copy of the Saga collection at a cheap price.

I cant wait to play all five of those games again!

shame the collection makes you download the psp titles. I really hate when they release physical collections and some of the games arent on the disc

Well the MCC has a day one 20GB patch so its actually worse then downloading those two psp titles.

First and foremost, quit hatin!

Put value aside, just accept people are excited to play these Halo games with a visual boost and their original multiplayer.

Yeah im not looking forward to that on Australian Internet.... But thats for multiplayer so I can take it or leave it, at least the single player games themselves are on disc. Im not hating on GOW collection, it just hate having to download games after I buy them and prefer to have them on discs. Until that happens ill just hold onto the GOW collection 1/2 and GOW3 discs seperately.
