Sonic 06. Hopelessly broken on a fundamental level, but I keep coming back to it...
.

I totally understand. I think Sonic 06 is a misunderstood game. The problem with it was that it was rushed into release when it was still in beta form. Apart from the love romance that Style was perfect for a new generation of Sonic. It was the adventure series for the new generation, but the thing was criticised so much that everything in the game is seen as terrible. In fact it was an unfotunate game that got pushed by corporate greed before it was ready for release.

It was some western game circa the doom era. I think it was called outlaw or something.

Rampage (arcade, master system). Very repetitive and not very balanced, but so absurdly fun.

Its funny you mention Rampage, I was just gonna come back and add the N64 port of Rampage to my list xD

Wasn't really a great game for the same reasons you gave, but I loved playing it when I had friends over.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH   Screw Rampage 64! I once skipped school to spend an entire day going through all 100+ levels of sheer mind numbingly repetitive action just to see what happens at the end, and all I got was a couple of dumb ass low res screens!

What can I say. I love coop beat 'em Ups. Me and my brother beat this game over 10 times.

When my Dragonball fascination was over 9000. Me and my brother oweed both the English and Japanese versions of this game. Gameplay was atrocious, but the music was awesome. Actually, if you play Final Bout with ePSXE, it actually plays 10 times better than it did on the original PS1.

The first game I ever bought on the PS1 after months of playing the packed in demo disc. Like Final Bout, the button inputs had nearly a one second delay from when something actually happened on the screen, and like Final Bout, that delay disappears when using ePSXE.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero

This game is from my adolescence, when I was lucky to get two new games a year, so I had to make the most out of every thing that came my way. I used to know this game like the back of my hand.

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins

A buggy, choppy mess with bad AI. But I'll take it over Assassin's Creed 3. :)

Oh, well there will always be people who do not like a game. There are people who even hate Ocarina Of Time, Suikoden 2, and Final Fantasy 7. Doesn't make them bad games.

There's something to be said for personal tastes and shifting standards.

In the case of Skyward Sword, though, I think one could make a pretty good case. The story is slow, shallow, and badly written. The combat is simplistic when it's not outright broken. Worst of all, the moment-to-moment gameplay is tedious and repetitive. It's just a mess.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

I'm not so sure it was rushed into release so much as it was rushed into production. The game has a lot of good ideas (mach-speed, upgrades, adventure-field, but they share space with a lot of bad ideas that should have been cut before they even started (Amy, Shadow's Vehicles, Silver boss fights). The foundation for a good game was there, but I don't think they had time to fully flesh it out before they had to get started.

All I'm saying is that's not popular opinion. Popular opinion is it's one of the best Legend of Zeldas in the series.
