Forums - General - When do you send friend requests?

If I hurt someone's feelings, I send a friend request to show that I meant no harm. Also, if you have a history of saying things that amuse me, I send a request. That way, I can find you online and laugh at/debate your posts. Simple.

so, it's kinda like saying "I JUST PWNED YOU". Damn glad I'm not your frien. ;)

jokes aside, I tend to not add people, only people I do send invite to are people who I respect.

Even if I have never heard of someone, I do not refuse friend requests

Pretty self explanitory, what does a person have to do to get a friend request from you?

for me I will send a friend request to people who...

  1. Share my opinions on games and consoles. (those that have spoke to me about games directly)
  2. Consistently post on my threads. (perhaps someone who posts on about 5 different threads by me)
  3. And people who make me laugh.

How about you guys?

So, which of these was i? I don't send requests, but i do accept them, unless i don't want the person to be on my list. Soriku made me think, whether i should accept him or not, but after all, he is a nice kid with good will.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

People who's avatars, I think, will make a nice addition to my profile. Y'know, sass it up a bit.

Generally, if I like the member, or if they've tried to help me out a bit (as in the case of Quartz, and truthiness), I'll request their cyber-friendship.

Usually never.

The only two I have sent were accidental.  I hate the fact that the Add Friend button doesn't have a confirm dialog. -_-

I just add if i havent already and dont dislike them :) im a friend slut.

One of a few things, or sometimes a combination.

I like hearing what they have to say about games(even if I don't always agree).

They amuse me.

I accept any friend request, seeing as how that person must be a winner since they requested me.

I've only had a rejection once, at the hands of MontanaHatchet. He was involved in the thread where duplicate games in the database were being listed, so I thought it would be useful to have him on my list. He told me he would accept the request if I removed Gballzack from my list. Even though Gballzack had imploded by that point and was banned, I didn't remove him/her/it on principle.

I think you posted in a few of my threads, but you also have my old school taste in nintendo. So a mixture of 1 and 2

I don't send them, but I don't reject...most hehe.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I don't send them, and I reject all of them.
