Meant to put damn near identical. The pics you posted cgi don't look much different in fact its such a small difference that I doubt most people would care or notice. Such small resolutions differences for the same games is laughable to compare to each other in my opinion.

Edit: you only proved my point further with the second set of pictures. You can see the differences a bit with rise, but with the second set you would have to try so hard to spot differences that its again laughable to even compare the differences.

Those pics are low quality. This one demonstrates the difference better.

Yeah, in the Ryse pic you posted, you can see that the veins are more pronounced and crisp in 1080p resolution. In the one I posted, the hair follicles look much better in native 1080p.

THe PC COD community is tiny compared to consoles. Ghosts is already a ghost town on PC like many cods before it. 

Rendering stuff at the native resolution of the screen will always look much, much better than blurry upscaling, no exceptions.
Even 1050p or something closer wouldn't cut it for me, it'd still look like a slightly blurry compressed video on my monitor.
I guess MS should start investing in 900p displays.

So I wonder is people will try to fraudulently get a refund on this game too..

it was laughable last gen in a lot of situations. i wasn't posting these types of threads last gen nor was I shitting on 360 or ps3 for having lesser versions that were barely noticable when compared with one another. This stuff is fine to discuss hoestly, it's just the level of relevancy you guys are giving such small differences is ridiculous in my opinion.

If MS want the game on par they need to release a more powerful console. 

As a PS4 owner I'm delighted to see Activision not letting MS hold them back with the PS4 version. Obviously they'd have tried and nothingwrong with that. Pretty sure Sony are on good terms with Acti now after the Destiny deal and the fact most of their games sell on the PS3/PS4. 

And X1 not hitting 1080P on both cods so far is embarressing. 

i'm sorry but those differences are negligable, its such a small difference I literally have to try and see the difference. 

Considering for those unlucky enough to not be able to buy both then every little difference is important because hundreds of dollars are on the  line. For those like me that were able to buy and enjoy both those differences are still very important because you don't want to waste money on the inferior console version. I know I know, pc versions is usually the best(except for Ubisoft games which tend to go for Xb1/lowest common denominator/ and screw everyone else)But we are talking about Console version here, and with Steam deals + trading card game you can probably get the pc version for free or damn close to it so it's a non-issue.
