Forums - Gaming - Your top 3 wishes for gaming

1. EA and Ubisoft gone, or at least severely weakened to the point where their prima donna publisher acts won't work on anybody. Maybe Microsoft too.
2. A better middle ground between super-expensive AAA games and pseudo 8-bit indies.
3. No more paid DLC, microtransactions, or other BS monetization practices.

Then Ouya would rise from the ashes to dominate the world!

Nah, I'm rooting for Apple to finally emerge from the shadows and take its rightful throne as King!

I've seen some legit answers here for wanting MS gone...
Can I get some reasons please, just curious.

Valve Master Race!!!

1. All the consumer manipulation techniques by the bigger companies to be punished; no more day 1 dlc, no more pay 2 win, no more lies from developers trying to convince the consumer, no more rushed realase dates, no more unwarrented praise fron critics that are easy to buy out.

2. Gaming to never fully depend on DRM to keep the industry relevant. Never for the industry to degress to just gaming in phones/casual gaming.

3. Nintendo stops being a home console manufacturer, switches focus on just games and getting the best possible marketing. Still does handhelds, and tries to get with the times and develop a gaming smartphone.

I'm now filled with determination.

1. No more DLC's. No more "Day One DLC", or "Retailer Exclusive DLC", or "Console Exclusive DLC"... get rid of them.
2. Exercise their brains and create newer IP's, getting as much time as they need to do make a perfect game.
3. More male characters in futuristic, skintight suits, facing enemies in an insane fashion a la Metal Gear Rising or Devil May Cry.

None of my wishes will ever happen, but here goes.

1. Sega returns to glory and releases another console.

2. Rare becomes Rare again. You know, good, like they were with the N64.

I guess that's it.

I'm confused, you don't want gaming to digress to phones and casual gaming, yet you want Nintendo to make a gaming phone?

What's the difference between legit answers and reasons for wanting MS gone in your case?  I mean, I think it's the word "legit" that's throwing me off, but I digress.
