Forums - Gaming - Xbox One's biggest problem is gonna take more than a price drop to fix.

The biggest problem with the Xbox One is finding the time to play all these amazing games. Unfortunately, the competition wouldn't know anything about that. Xbox One is proving to be the leader, not the follower. Xbox One continues to evolve with fresh baked monthly updates that continue to make the Xbox One superior in every way. Also, the consistent reliability of Xbox live alone makes the Xbox One THE place to game. Once again, thank you Microsoft. We are humbled.

I think the biggest problem was the loss of consumer trust. Its gonna take years to rebuild.

Maybe it's just that i'm not noticing it, but I don't think we have people like this for Sony or Nintnedo. MS has a few of them on here.

I'm almost tempted to start picking this post apart...but I'm almost certain I won't get a reply if I do anyways.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Years ahead?  Really? Maybe minutes or hours, but years no way.

Overall experience I would say that the X1 is the one that is closer to being years ahead.

OS features for gaming can't catche in just minutes or hours.

+ Bad installation times
+ Bad patch system
+ Slow OS and Apps (of course when compared with PS4)
+ No basic feature slike (I don't know) take screeshot
+ No SharePlay
+ No BC gaming streaming
+ Etc (yeat there is more)

So in the next few hours Xbone will catch PS4 in gaming feature?

Xboneone has a great patch system and the apps are fast. Lol are you just talking out your ass? The Xbox one has a few features the ps4 doesn't have which can't cancel out a lot of the other stuff you posted as well.

I havent a clue about the patch system, but apps and os features are really slow on X1 not 7th gen slow but not PS4 fast either.

The os and the apps are not slow I don't know what your talking about been using it since March and then speeds are fine.

You can back to talk about patch system when it started to have a reasonable size... not 16GB, 13GB, 20GB, etc... it is just ridiculous compared with PS4.

And you need to use the PS4 apps to see the huge different in terms of speed.

Combined the install system + patch system makes you need to wait over 1 hour to play games in Xbone.

What gaming feature Xbone have over PS4? Suspend/Resume and? Yeap... I know how bad is the situation... can I list the gaming features PS4 have over Xbone now?

PS. I guess you need to make you home lesson first or use a PS4

Note. It is just blow my mind how can anybody create the clain that the Xbone's OS and app are fast or the patch/install system is great... even MS knows the situation about these points.

What patches were that big? I have never actually gone through a os patch as it always happens while I'm away from my home console and I'm asleep or out. Maybe if the ps4 actually updated their OS regularly like Microsoft...yea.
The Xbox one has a few media functionalities over the ps4 as well as a few gaming related ones like suspend resume, snap, etc.

Gaming patches... just compare... it is crazy the difference.

10GB, 12GB, 14GB, etc are common size of patch in Xbone since release... it didn't changed yet.

At this present point in time, Xbox One is not the inferior console. Not even close.

The PR disaster of 2013 will take time to heal. The console doesn't have a single flaw.

And no, resulition does not make a game better.

the XB1 can't even display the color black properly. Sunset Overdrive has horrible crushed blacks and that's coming from unhappy X1 owners and nobody else. If it has problems with basics like that you better beleive it has flaws! Also not being a lot cheaper than the PS4 is a flaw considering the weaker hardware. Loads of flaw my friend.
