As long as it is stable 30 fps I am happy. This game looks badass and its PS4 exclusive. What else can I ask?

People need to grow up and stop complaining over things that don't matter. Let the company make their game with their specs and get the game out. Having the game to play is always better than a minor graphics upgrade.

Yup... I just wish more devs will settle for whatever they can achieve while running their game at 60fps. Kojima did it and Naughty dog seems to eb doing it with U4 too. And if they could get that game running as is at 60fps then I can't imagine why anyone else shouldn't.

Disclaimer: I STRONGLY believe that U4 will get downgraded from 60fps status to "locked 30fps". That double/frame budget is just to much to pass up.

I think it's more likely that we'll end up with both a high variable (30/40 to 60) and a locked 30fps option. They've never claimed to be targeting a locked 60fps, nor do i think they ever even considered it.

A locked 60fps would honestly be a step back for something like Uncharted. The two standard choices for maintaining the lock are to have decent visuals (relative to locked 30fps) at a consistent level (which would be pretty much impossible for a series famous for its set pieces), or downgrade the visuals heavily and let a large chunk of resources go wasted whenever you're not at peak scenes. Neither option would really fit Uncharted.

I doubt it will matter to many either. Some Nintendo fans here are very dedicated to 60fps, but they seem happy enough with B2's 30 to 60fps variable. As long as those freed up resources are being used efficiently, who cares?

Whoever started the whole 60fps/ 720p thing should be a parriah of the industry. Now, even gamers with shitty TVs who never cared before yell about it like it's some sort of mantra.

60fps is only important for fps, fighting and driving game genres. Could care less what any other genre's resolution is on a console.

it's developed by a moderate Japanese team. They don't have the resources or capabilities to push hardware.

I really don't see why people care so much.
