Actions speak louder then words. Show and deliver rather then tell. One thing I've learned over the year with MS announcements. Same with Sony and other publishers. These future promises or intentions of pre announcements of eventual announcements of groundbreaking or boundary pushing or jaw dropping or revolutionary games are getting old.

I'm inclined to agree. Also, "push the boundaries" is a very vague phrase. Pushing the boundaries in what? Gameplay mechanics, thematic messages, storytelling? To me, "push the boundaries" means nothing.

Yup, especially when he then cites sunset overdrive and breaking out of the Gears / Halo / Forza mold. That's not pushing boundaries. Pushing boundaries is not having invincible kids in games, child soldiers, baby killers, training an army of suicide bombers. Hope he means a traditional kickass platformer instead.

Or what was recently showed last night, The Tomorrow Children. If you haven't seen it yet, start from the 30 minute mark with this link: http://www.twitch.tv/raptr/b/581462160

I just saw the entire thing and I was really impressed with many different aspects. The classes, scale, amount of exploration, lighting, customization, and art style were very impressive. The game basically had this aura of uniqueness around it.

Having MS invest in games like Ori and the Blind Forest keeps me optimistic. Looks like one of the best indie games, I've seen.

And damn... so much negativity. At least let them show it.
People would have opposite reactions if Sony, or Nintendo said this.

Mmmm.... I'm always wary of their consistently misleading PR.

That said, if they're taking a cue from Sony and trying to back more diverse and interesting games, then they'll have my attention. I need something to buy for my Xbone. lol

I'll believe it when i see it, Spencer.

lol at the negativity... it's like some people run on scripts...

I'm actually close to believing that Spencer will pull off the stunt that gets Rare back to their glory days.

That said, I'll only really believe them if they put out a great game.

It's totally fair, because we know Sony and Nintendo dont disappoint on this, we are used to this with them. And we believe them since they already revealed a lot of new ip coming for 2015

While, for now, it's only words from Spencer, he is good at seducing the gamers with words i noticed, so good at his  PR job,  but we'll believe what we'll see.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

All the first party titles you see on Xbox One or Xbox 360 since 2010 are his doing.

He was in charge of Xbox One first party development and he put the most varied game selection on the 1st year of any new gen consoles.

Platformer: Max & TMM

Fighting: KI

Racing Sim: Forza M5

Racing Arcade: Forza H2

FPS: Titanfall, The Master Chief Collection

Adventure/Hack and Slash: Ryse

Adventure/Survival: Dead Rising 3

Adventure/ Open World: Sunset Overdrive

Plus he is rebooting an obscure game like Phantom Dust, just to show how he's committed to make X1 a jack of all trades.

I think MS also revealed a lot of new ips for 2015 and this year wasn't a dissapoiontment as a X1 owner. Seems 2015 won't dissapoint either... I understand criticism over MS announcment but I think waiting a bit before judging is always the best way to go.

So he is the one responsible for the 2010-2013 years on 360... Not a good thing imo
