I dont know if it was the most successful but it definitely sold well.

Agreed, well except for the Wii Sports one! That one came at no extra cost.

If I remember correctly the Wii was less expensive in Japan where it came without Wii Sports so it wasn't free.

True for Japan, but everywhere you couldn't a Wii without the game. So it wasn't a bundle as others on this list are.

I get what you're saying, but i guess we see different things by this. I mean we don't know how the console would have costed should it have come without the game!

I should have said optional console bundle. Because that was my intent.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Still nope. Mario Kart Wii bundle and Kinect bundle. You had a choice of buying the lower costing Xbox 360 Slim or the Slim + Kinect. Then Kinect won a Guiness world record for how fast it sold.
