Well, in my case at least, it's not true. Metacritic now concurring with my opinion doesn't change my less than favourable view of the site.

GS is biased against nintendo. but bayonetta isnt a nintendo game so this is missplaced here.

and metacritic IS a extremely unreliable indictor for some games.but bayonetta 2 has no big problem with it because all the review ae in the same area, in this case the statistical methode they use works fine. it doesnt work fine if the scores look like fired by a shotgun.

Look man, reality is that no one is going to suddenly trade in their XB1 and PS4 just to buy a Wii U for one game, no matter how praised. Heck, people aren't going to buy the Wii U period. It's the most odd console-game relationship that has ever existed. Also the most controversial for obvious reasons.
