The Pokemon Company is a part of Nintendo. Their only and exclusive duty is to market Pokemon.
It's like a franchise development company.
Not blown away by this game. Looks a bit to crazy. Plus mish mashed of a few different games (noteably infamous, some parts bioshock infinite, some team fortress 2 ish parts). I do for the most part like insomniac and hope the game turns out great.

On their Wikipedia page it says itwas founded and branded The Pokemon Company by Nintendo in 1998. Usually I don't trust Wikipedia but a miss like that would be quickly spotted/corrected.
Anyway, Pokemon is the only franchise that could be bigger than GTA on consoles and it's being held back weird Japanese business practices.

I relate it more with Crackdown: crazy grenades, toilet humor (sorta), monsters (almost the same), gangs, etc...
That's why I highly antecipate it mostly.
I can see the infamous connections but this reminds me of ratchet and clank big time. Anybody who likes the look of this would really enjoy the infamous and ratchet games anyway.
Game looks good but to me it just seems too slow. The speed needs to be upped 2X and it would be a kick ass adrenaline rush. I'm no tech expert but maybe it would have been too hard to make the game if they upped the speed.
This is a compliment BTW: A reskinned R&C. Insomniac returning to its roots which can only mean good things.

I really like the exclusives X1 has on offer. IMO more interesting than PS4 exclusives which all seem to blend together. Certainly more fun oriented and much less dark.
