Clearly Nintendo should have stepped in and published it, the first Force Unleashed showed that there was a audience for Star Wars-games on Wii

This was in 2008, when Nintendo was printing money with the Wii and DS, so there was no need from their perspective. Now, on the other hand, could be a good chance to bring it over to the Wii U.

This is why I want Factor 5 (or what once was) to make the new Star Fox!

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Kind of amusing that both Factor 5 & Free Radical both made high-profile PS3 exclusives which flopped and supposedly lead to their demise, but in both cases it emerged years later that they'd been involved in Star Wars projects that contributed towards their closure/buyouts.

I hope someone leaks the finished ROM on the Internet....or a video on Youtube...or something.

I´d love to see what they were able to do with the Wii hardware.

Sounds like legal issues were the main problem. Couldn't publish a Star Wars game without green light from Lucas Arts.

Yeah, sounds like it to me, even during the hey day of the Wii, I doubt Nintendo would scoff at getting a exclusive Star Wars game, especially given how well those titles performed on Nintendo systems in previous less succesful generations like the N64 and GC. A shame, such a great developer gets screwed over due to things like the economy, the rising HD costs and probably some ole Lucasarts gaming BS.

Well, bad times for Star Wars fans with Nintendo platforms. Cancelled Wii game, cancelled Wii U game and EA exclusivity...

EA having exclusive rights to publish Star Wars games was the nail in the coffin for me for Star Wars games... We had so many good Star Wars games, look now between the PS4 and Wii U, they can do extremely interesting things with the Star Wars universe! PS4 with Morpheus and Move and the Wii U with the gamepad and Wiimotes... but meh... you know... men in suits have the creativity of a block of wood.

I'm gonna go be sad now...

Ugh, that's too bad. I really liked this studio.
