Forums - Nintendo - Is there any Wii U game that will matter to the Japanese?

I really disliked Skyward Sword. Limited corridor area was nothing like big open world OOT / TP had. Plus I really hated the controller options.

Your not alone on that ...

+1. Worst Zelda for me (excluding Zelda choo-choo edition aka sprinting trainwreck).

Games that could help move wii u in japan.

1. Youkai Watch
2. Animal crossing
3. Monster hunter 4 hd
4. Any Pokemon games, pokken fighters included
5. Some more freaking jrpg games

I loved Spirit Tracks. It's probably my favorite handheld Zelda.

There's a lot to love about Skyward Sward but a huge list of things of hate. It's a divisive game. Though there's great ideas and creativity and I appresate what they were trying to do, I would rate it as my least favorite 3D Zelda by far.

Ayayay, so much Skyward Sword hate in this thread.

I think that by the end of this gen, dedicated consoles, and possibly handhelds, will be dea d. I don't know why Nintendo decided to choose the declining Japanese gaming market as their focus this gen.

*vomits*

I'm sure a console exclusive Monster Hunter would appeal to them. Look at Monster Hunter Tri for Wii. It would have to be exclusive for Wii U though or they'd just get it on 3DS.

What are you talking about? Wii U is already totally dominating all 8th gen consoles in Japan even without games. I mean look at the huge gap that is growing every week! PS4 will never catch up to that!

Sorry, got a T-bone stuck in my throat from last evening's supper.
