Forums - Nintendo - Is there any Wii U game that will matter to the Japanese?

Dragon Quest? I know there is a Wii U one

Top PS3 game last generation in Japan was FF13 with 1.87 mln. Next was RE5 with 1.08 mln. Next is FF13-2 with 0.89 mln.

Top WiiU game currently in Japan is NSMBU with 1.21 mln. Wii Party U is 0.79 mln. MarioKart8 is 0.68 mln there. I'm totally sure that LT sales of MK8, WiiPartyU and Smash WiiU will be higher then 1 million in Japan.

So how can you say that WiiU games are no matter to Japanese if they still sell better than the best selling PS3 games last generation?

The PS3 had very few titles do exceptionally well in Japan, but it had an awful lot do "pretty good" (200k+). It even managed to sell more software than the Wii, despite the Wii's larger install base and much larger number of "exceptional" sellers (the PS3 had a tie ratio of 7.1 in Japan, vs the Wii's 5.4).

They need games based on animes! Start with the small easy ones to get that maybe are not as popular and then move on to bigger ones.

Sword Art U.

Sword Art Online already on Vita with another game announced for Vita/PS3.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
