Not really hyped for me cause its like what? $40? I mean, it looks great for what it is but eh, I would have bought it for $20 but since its $40 ($45 for us Canadians). I am not really gonna bother until it goes on sale

It's in the video at the 2:12 mark. They show a bunch of the stages, and there's a phrase with the number 70 hanging around it. I can only assume that means there are at least 70 levels in this game.

Maybe there will be someone who can better translate that.

This game didn't particularly impress me at E3, but I knew better than to doubt EAD Tokyo. As expected, it's been looking better and better the more they've shown. Looks like they've done it again.

Don't understand why people don't think this game is worth $40. That's a budget price. For that you get a full-length and unique game made by one of the most skilled development teams in the industry.

Anyone else see what looks like Toadette in the mine cart at 2:35? Is she another playable character or is the lighting playing tricks on my eyes?

EDIT: Never mind, hadn't finished the trailer yet. So she's playable? Do you think she plays differently or she's just an aesthetic change? Maybe at some point in the story the Captain gets taken away and you play as Toadette for a whlie?

I wonder if theres multiplayer since you can play as different characters. They even showed the Blue toad with glasses.

I don't think this game would work with multiplayer. It would have to be too synchronized with all the level spinning and activation of stuff on the gamepad. P2 would just have to tail P1...
