Naughty Dog specialized in making platformers like Crash and Jak yet they were able to break free with Uncharted.

I would reconsider if I were you. Tokyo EAD makes nothing but the highest caliber of video games. I would honestly pay the full $60 for it if they were charging that since I know this will be at least a 9/10 game coming from them. So $40 seems like a great deal to me.

What this guy said ... Including games such as SM3DL and SM3DW plus it's not like none of the employees weren't in other studios back in the day making different games than now ...

None of those games are AAA blockbusters, at least not in terms of resources.

You think Galaxy's budget was comparable to that of the typical AAA game?

Hell, you think Galaxy's budget was greater than 3D World's?

None of this conversation makes any sense to begin with though, so I've no interest in participating. EAD Tokyo should make a stealth action game... suuuuuuure. That would be a great move, like when Michael Jordan decided to play baseball instead.

How do you prove that ? And that especially goes for SM3DW ...

The production values for both games are very high with SM3DW having a second year in development and the studio behind both games have 100 employees. Nintendo may not be the biggest spenders compared to the likes of Activision, Ubisoft, or EA but all you need is a budget of over 20 million dollars to be considered "AAA". Nintendo also shelled out 30 million dollars just for The Wonderful 101 ...
