Well I don't know what you're talking about. My experiences as a mod didn't support this theory; posts which were worth moderating were reported and acted upon after a discussion amongst the mod team, and several times reports were dismissed, or posts were found without the use of the report button.

Making general blanket statements doesn't really help anyone. If the post was worth moderating then it surely doesn't matter who it offended; because that's not the important part. The important part is that the post itself was, infact, breaking one or more forum rules. Ofcourse at this point I'm not sure if that's the case, but I have faith in the mod team that it would only be moderated if it was worth moderating. 

I once reported someone (who I shall not name) who said the Wii U was Nintendo's "Driveclub". Nothing happened.

But yeah, I came here to know why Tachi was banned.

One thing at a time Samus! If that was the case then it would be beneficial to PM the head mods with the post to ask for clarification; so you know for future what posts constitute a rulebreak. Doing so will likely lead you to an answer much quicker and with a more in-depth conversation than posting in this thread.

Since we can all read the forum comments made by users even when they set their profile to private, it should be possible to do a search for their posts as well. But right now, if they have set their profile to private, you don't see anything come up in the search engine. 

 

 

 

Also... Over two hours without a mod taking notice of the replies here?  Hmmm....

I agree with most moderations given out, but that post is definitely not moderation worthy. I am sure that when a country is censoring a gamers enjoment ( a gamer who is just like you and me excpet he's in another country ) a person has every right to call it what Tachikoma called the country, if not more.

I'm assuming if she was a little more specific/justified her post and/or used different wording it wouldn't have been moderated? Before I say anything more and look like a poophead I'm going to look at the forum rules.

Quite the double standard that you have there. Just yesterday you were supportive of the mods that no matter how true it is, it's not allowed to call a spade a spade. But things tend to change quickly when someone you like is involved.

For clarification, at this point I am not making any statements on whether or not I agree with this moderation.

But that is all about calling out another user. The comment Tachikoma posted was about the topic at hand and not about calling out another user, hardly similar subject matters.

 

Also just to clarify I've never actually talked to Tachikoma, on this site. I'm just talking about the facts and not against the user/s.

She called out an entire country, one with over a billion people. That's a pretty broad attack, if I've ever seen one. I don't think she added anything to the discussion with a short one-liner that contained an f-bomb, so that doesn't work as a defense for her action at all.

That you think of her as cool qualifies as liking her. Or put another way, you have a positive opinion of her. Conversely, if you were indifferent or had a negative opinion, you would shrug off this incident with "meh, who cares".

I don't see that as calling out a country. I see that as calling out the big man ( The government ). This is indeed not an issue about the people of China but rather those that impose those rules on these people.

 

I edited my last comment, by stating that I'm actually not talking about the user/s but about the subject. If it's any condolence though, I talked to Jaywood more on this site and I think his an awesome dude.He is after all the person who sparked the last debate and the person who you are accusing me of " not liking".
