How do you know he was being figurative and not literal?  You see, this is where his posting history context is needed.

edit: at this point there isn't much more we can discuss about this.  Just wait for conegamer to come in and give his reasoning.  However, I am sure he will say the same things I have said... If that doesn't satisfy you then you probably won't be satisfied with this situation...

And you have proof that he was speaking figuratively I take it? His posting history, which includes digs at Halo and SO in recent months, would suggest otherwise. The guy is a known troublemaker and has been known to stealth troll MS. With his history and that post in the thread, it was a pretty obvious dig at MS and thus he was moderated. 

My parents always told me that if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything. It seems, however, that not everyone got this message. So if you have an issue with MS then just don't post in the threads and let the people who do enjoy it.

It's one of those when people say never they don't actually mean "never" type of deal ...

If people have reported me in a thread am i allowed to allude to that fact in the thread. Normally I might not but in this instance the reports actually back up the point I'm making. Just need the all clear before I do. Thanks.

That's probably not a good idea Kerotan. It really isn't worth doing it and can only cause additional problems.

A long time poster who is fond of sexy avatars has told me the mods all think I'm a joke. I certainly hope that isnt the case. Feel what you want but if that was true it would make most of you two faced to say the least as my personal interactions have nearly all been good and positive. So do you think I'm a joke and is all this nicety fake? Or is this poster just trying to wind me up?

I would probably take it with a grain of salt. The mods are supposed to be objective and i doubt any of 'em would treat a valued contributor to the forum like that.
