Me too; I am itching for Bayonetta 2 something fierce right now, as well as Xenoblade Chronicles X and Fatal Frame 5. I have to have something to play in the mean time though, to keep me going.

I can't help you if you don't have a 3DS and are not into Smash Bros. :P
There are sales on the eShop all the time, and at least a dozen games actually worth checking out if you haven't yet. Maybe you should keep a schedule of some kind and plan out what games you're going to be playing in advance. There were a ton of Virtual Console sales last month leading up to Smash Bros, if you hadn't played any of those before, now would be the time.
The thing is, even without any delays Nintendo can't fully support two consoles with first-party software alone. They aren't completely devoid of third-party support, especially if you're willing to take a chance on some indie games. You kind of have to be willing to meet the console halfway. You're going to get the games you want, but no matter what there will be some time between them. It sounds like you and I have at least somewhat similar tastes, and I know for me even though games I actually want to play can be few and far between on Nintendo systems, they are even fewer and farther between on others, which simply makes Nintendo the right choice for me. I'm extremely picky with how I choose to spend my time and money, and for that reason alone I sometimes go a long time without buying a new game. I could blame Nintendo, but I know that the time between games would be even longer on other platforms, so I figure Nintendo must be doing something right by me.
