To an extent I'm the same; I have no interest in the vast majority of third party offerings, (I honestly consider about 80% of all games not worth the time and money) and I often replay games; once I start to get tired of Hyrule Warriors  I plan on replaying Donkey Kong Copuntry Returns to get me through to Bayo 2's release.

But still, there comes a time when I itch for a new game, and the next one I want is two months away.

I kind of get that. I think for me, the itch is more for a specific game than for a general 'something to play.' For instance, I've been feeling the Xenoblade X itch really strongly ever since it was first shown. Knowing it was years off, to pass the time I dove back into Xenoblade. Whether X was 22 months or 28 months away at the time of its announcement made little difference to me in the long run. I wouldn't even really say it would be "worth the wait," because I don't exactly feel like I'm "waiting." Once the game comes out, I will buy it, and then I will play, and play it again, and play it again. Great games are the gift that keeps on giving.

Me too; I am itching for Bayonetta 2 something fierce right now, as well as Xenoblade Chronicles X and Fatal Frame 5. I have  to have something to play in the mean time though, to keep me going.
