Really? Still after Driveclub get a gruelling reception people are still up in arms about graphics and a few missing pixels.

With stupidity like this mediocre games will keep on coming. Gamers (or fanboys for that matter) should start being more vocal about gameplay. A new extra pixels have never made a game better, but a few extra missions/game modes/options will make a game better.

Graphics impress the casuals and casuals = $$$

i am greatful for what Ubi has do e for the Wii u to date, they were very patient w the Wii u and it did not pay off for them

Nintendo needs to stay true to thier word at launch and do something about getting 3rd parties on board- you count on Nintendo  to defend their own console and or console owners .   But I don t think Nintndo can be  successful w out 3 rd parties

Not as patient as Wii U fans waiting for Rayman Legends. Maybe fans of Origins didn't "pay" them enough. Perhaps they should have ported it to other platforms?

Why would they have released Rayman at a time when it surely would have tanked because people were not buying the Wii u and the sub base was pitifully low-even Nintendo was delaying their own games then-   Obviously they had an out In their agreement w Nintnedo based on sub base and Mintndo let them take it instead of stepping up and defending their own machine -   Kind of hard to have faith In a platform when the Company who owns it does not have faith in it either

Maybe Nintendo bought into the idea that third parties can't compete with Nintendo software, so Ubisoft were given a grace period, and they basically went "naaah, fuck off."

Taking kindness as a sign of weakness is always a mistake.

This is so stupid. Each game that Ubisoft has made for the Wii U has been a lesser version than those on other systems. Previous Assassin's Creed games, Watch Dogs...

Gee, I wonder why the Wii U version of 3rd party games is always the "lesser" version compared to the PS4 and X1 versions?  I guess we'll never know...

Lazy developers duh

Ironically, the Wii U was selling poorly due to a lack of games/momentum.  Arguably, Legends it would have sold much better on the Wii U had it released during the first games drought, before Nintendo's first party titles were getting released. In the end, the Wii U version of Legends sold second only to PS3, even with its crazy userbase lead.

It was Nintendo that showed Ubisoft the most faith, constantly putting Rayman Legends in the spotlight during the Wii U reveal and lead up to launch. Plenty of free advertisement and hype given, but ultimately for naught.

dont you see the other side of the picture ?

I do but that doesnt make there statement here NOT true. We know Unity would not run on WIi U. Not at least without serious compromise and no one wants that right? Now can we argue whether or not this is the main reason for it not showing up on WIi U? Hell yeah. But lets not act like Ubi is telling a bold face lie they arent.

I agree theres some truth but still its not the main reason.

we have seen horrible downgrades before but that did not stop them from making it.

I just dont buy it.

it probably wasnt the main reason. And they have downgraded, but how many times? How far down? Hell they didnt even really do it for the Wii and even then the install base justified that they at least tried. Fact is the Wii U isnt going to put up the sales that would justify them having to get another team to port or make a completly different version for it.
