Forums - Gaming Discussion - Assassin's Creed Unity is 900p/30fps on both PS4 & Xbox One 'to avoid all the debates and stuff'

This thread started quickly. Now people lost interest. I guess at the end of the day people will buy it regardless of parity clause. Its a shame that ubisoft will get away with this. This is just wrong.

After playing Shadow Of Mordor my excitement for AC Unity went way down. SoM is seriously the most refined AC game ever made. It rocks.

They intentionally held back the PS4 version, and Assassin's Creed controls are a nightmare with a keyboard + mouse.

XBox 360/One Controller is always an option, I use that for everything that isnt FPS or Strategy. That said gimping the PS4 version is a cheap shot really

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Well... This blew up XD

1.) PC doesn't win, you are not getting the point cause you are trapped in this weird cage that wants to seperate the discussions and no seeing the big picture I'm actually painting.

2.) Yet when PS4 and X1 have parity, people flip their shit and it's the dev's fault, get it yet? Or do you need me to spell out the word "Sarcasm" for you? /wink

You believe what you think true. Same for me. Bye.

Not my fault that you don't have an ironic sense of humor and takes an internet forum super seriously lol. ^_^;

There is no parity with PCs and consoles, PC graphics are unlocked to as powerfull as your hardware is. Exclusive PC games look ages better than consoles games, so Im not quite sure what youre on about.

The irony is that this is the exact same situation as PC vs Consoles.

This news is incredibly annoying for me personally because I haven't upgrade yet, but ultimately insubstantial. It only serves a fuel for the insane irrational division of gamers thats been propogated over the years.

Then again, there aren't really any alternatives to this.

I hope they patch it, there really is no reason for them to do this.

Don't think this has anything to do with NVidia. If anything with Intel :P

I believe the devs when they are saying that the game is very CPU heavy. All previous AC games were too. But this time they overdid it.

I'm pretty sure if they reduced the number of people in the world there would be no parity since the CPU resources would be free to feed the GPUs and there would be a natural gap between the graphics again.

the CPU cant be the problem, it will run on an allmost 8 years old intel without problem. its not that demanding if u compare it with other PC games that realy need the cpu power.

and it has nvidia exclusiv graphic features and ubi is working close with nvidia.

and ubi knows that they can get away with poor amd performance, because they dont care if u buy it on xbox or ps(it might benefits em if they sale the game on xbox, could be hat m$ is taking a smaller share of the price than sony)

they will bundle it with nvidia cards like the last one and sale a shitloa of copys to nvidia for that promotion deal...

http://www.gamezone.com/news/ubisoft-nvidia-announce-pc-partnership-for-assassin-s-creed-unity-far-cry-4-the-division-the-crew

The console wars doesn't have anything to do with Nvidia. Nobody thinks "OH WOW AMD!" when they pick up their console. It's pretty much a closed market and Nvidia has no game in it. It wouldn't benefit them in the least if some console game runs worse than a PC game with Nvidia because all games on PC run better than consoles no matter the brand of card.

And where are you taking that bolded from? I wouldn't be surprised if I run into a CPU bottleneck on PC with my 3570k. I mean look at the trailers. There is a shitload for the CPU to do. I'm talking RTS proportions.

a friend has a very special pc, with a big modern gpu and an old q6600 intel cpu, and the cpu was never a problem.

and every pc goes down on its knees if u playing the wrong rts(yes im looking a u load of shit rome 2 with your stupid AI)

This is true for most games but there are exceptions. Like this case for example. The Games nowadays are so heavy on the GPU that the CPU will never even come close to maxing out before the GPU does. But as you said yourself, games with a lot of AI running around, especially if it's not coded optimally will bring down any CPU. As is no doubt the case in ACU.
