Worldwide sales  to date? Over 200k guaranteed. Possibly over 300k.

300k pretty much guaranteed due to NA, though. Well, in the week after this.

I'll have to see how well the legs turn out.

Part of why DW legs end up badly is because the fanbase has already experienced them in some way or form before. And, since they found a blue ocean with this, I think this'll leg out just fine. (Plus it looks cool)

At this point I think 500k lifetime is pretty much a lock.

It's what was expected. Neither good nor bad. Zelda franchise was sure to give this game a boost and it did, it will also guarantee the best legs in history of the genre. I'm interested how much better it's gonna do in NA. Nintendo would be getting better numbers in EU if they weren't flat out ignoring a massive chunk of it. As long as they keep on doing that, they have only NA to count on.

What part of EU is Nintendo ignoring?

It's already done 192k WW. Something has to go terrible wrong if it can't reach 200k.

Roughly expected I suppose. But that is by no means good. 70K launch for any game across all of Europe is floppity flop flop material. People expected a flop and their expectations were met =/=good.

What it does show is throwing the Zelda peeps into a non-LoZ type game does nothing for sales.

Right because no game can be developed on a budget understanding what it can sell -_-

Seriously theirs companies that survive on games that sell no more than 100k WW and have been doing so for years.

Warriors don't fall into this category, so I don't know why you bring it up.

Edit: We're using VGC....

I'm going to be sorry to break it to everyone, but it's almost certainly overtracked. Japanese game + Europe = VGC overtracking.

ANY game means ANY game, not just the Musou series. I was merely pointing out his mistake. I never said anything about the Musou series being similar. Maybe he could choose his words more carefully.

Looking at PAL charts, its not unreasonable numbers. It was #1 in Germany, and #2 in France on Destiny week, I don't remember UK.

#1 in germany doesn't mean it hit 5 figures and the same for being #2 in France. Rankings can be deceiving.

On Destiny week? You want to say that Destiny didn't hit 5 digits?

Why did you add text into my quoted post?

Destiny week 2 vs. HW week 1....

No clue, that was meant to be at the end of my sentence. O_o

Yes, it was second week, but I find it hard to believe it dropped down to four digits in a single week for such a volumetric game and marketting budget (unless the Germans are keen on not buying shit...). All I am saying is that we're looking at a point in time where the PAL charts and general guestimates at numbers based on rankings (for UK figures) don't seem to be that far off. Unless you think Destiny fell off a cliff in Germany, and that France's #2 is <5 digits.
