Go look at a FF XII gameplay video to see what I'm talking about ... The battle system in Xenoblade Chronicles X wasn't originally inspired. It took notes from none other than you had guessed it, FF XII.

Which in turn is clearly influenced by FF12.

I think most gamers who played FF4 and 6 agree that 4 destroys 6 when it comes to innovating and bringing new ideas. But those same gamers consider 6 the better game overall. I for one do!

Oh by all means I'm not saying originality is the most important but an action RPG is simply better than a pseudo action RPG in terms of combat. I'm fine with improvements and all but a lot of FF fans are turned off by a lot of FF XII's MMO aspects which could be attributed to have been done poorly but JRPGs can usually stand on their own without them ...

1. I think both look amazing graphically, considering the platforms they're on. FFXV looks amazing for a PS4, XCX looks amazing for a WiiU game.

2. I don't know if they'll be comparable games, as FFXV doesn't seem as jrpg-ish as it used in previous itinerations.

3. FFXV will sell way more.

4. Overall XCX will be the better game.

I will probably get both, but I am more hyped about Xenoblade Chronicles X. There's no doubt in my mind that it will be an awesome game. On the other hand, SE is at a point in which they have to prove that they can make an awesome game.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I think we all know what will happen
1) xenoblade chronicle x might be a better game but FFXV will sell more due to it's hype and platform
2) both will be GREAT GAME that have great graphics

I am really impressed by the latest FFXV trailer. Anyway, I lost my faith to SE after FFXIII (I just couldn't get into it). I will buy XCS on day 1 but not sure if I will get a ps4 for FF.. I really hope it will convince me to buy it.

Holy shit, some of you took my comment about the game's name waaaaaaaay too seriously
As if I actually said "the name is stupid, therefore, the game is going to suck".
