Many of the things mentioned could be improved and demos like this give good feedback. It's not out for a while so changes can be made.

This said if it's like Gears then it will be good, right? (that's the logic i'm going for)

But how do you know it's a mediocre game? You must have seen exactly the same media coverage as I have (possibly less) and I haven't seen anywhere near enough to deternine even how the whole experience is going to come together. I've seen a shooting section and what is possibly a more tense exploration section in which our protagonist discovers a wearwolf, and that's it. I don't know how the story will play out, who the characters are, what other sections are in the game or what variety of gameplay there is. I know very little other than the main theme of the game ... and even that is only the bare-bone synopsis.
