Forums - Nintendo - Edit ( Hyrule Warriors) to push out over 300,000 FW in United States alone? My research says yes! My gut says no...

But I am missing so many stores! And some of these stores had more than they said. Like I would have to give a number and they would say "More!" Then the pre-order number would be told to me, but when I asked for the ship number they would not say for certain. I underestimated to be fair.

Well, WW HD opened up with about 130K (less than half) and that's an actual Zelda game. (Though a remake)

Skyward Sword did 600K week 1 with the Wii's userbase, during a Holiday week, and was a full new Zelda.

I'd be impressed if Hyrule Warriors opened with 150K to be honest. (U.S)

It should be at least the minimum of sales!

It is Zelda, and many Americans may not understand it is a Dynasty Warrior game or even care that it is. They see Zelda and the advertisments and just pre-ordered it. I hope some are not surprised it is not what they thought. Not everyone reads game forums all day. So it could be a situation like that. They said they have had many people come in who have not pre-ordered it to buy it. Some for Christmas already one said.

i have said the same and i have been attacked for this lol!as for your number ,can you explain it to me?for me, it will hit the fw numbers of wind waker hd or double because the same happened in japan 130k or 260k or something between them!

The last zelda game (that count) sold 7million this one should do 6 million easily so 300 first week in Na is a safe bet

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Hopefully USA+EU can have 600K+ for the software sales.

There are some super high expectations for Hyrule Warriors. Good luck.

Don't think anyone here is serious, but you can never tell.

It won't happen.
I would be surprised if it did half of that tbh.

If it only manages 300k FW, there would be something seriously wrong. It should do a lot lot more easily.

If it manages 300K FW, it would be by far the best selling Warriors in the US ever.

Edit: I see Spurge mixed things up and the thread said something else initially.

WW was bundled though, and we do not track bundled games as far as I remember. plus as you said, it is a remake, mostly visuals.

skyward sword was an annoyance by many because of motion controls, it was a year that had few big games despite being the year of Zelda, and the system was already on its way out the door. The GC/ Wii Zelda TP was lucky to be on two systems, something SS should have gotten as well, but now we have quite a few Zelda games. But I would still welcome it with Gamepad controls.

Hyrule warriors has had some decent advertising, is something new, and exciting! I hope 150,000 is not it.

VGC has always tracked bundles. Unless they stopped that is. Look at Wii Sports...

The fact that WWHD was bundled and only did 130K shows that HW won't hit 300K week 1.

He posted that when the thread was still about Smash Bros
