I wouldn't go as far as to say that the holidays won't help the X1. The holidays help all consoles. A more accurate statement would be that the holidays won't help the X1 as much as they would help the PS4.

3 - 4 weeks of preoders for xb1  fifa bundle

less than 1 weeks of sales for the ps4 fifa bundle

I think most people already realised that long ago... It's not about winning, just doing well. Which it looks like the Xbox One has a good chance of.

This is vgchartz, it's all about sales, about the console race sales. That's why you'll see so many people here care about it. That makes sense, right ?

As for the XOne winning or not, even if it's losing, it's not decided yet if it will "loose" like a genesis or PS3, with a sort of comeback, good shares, a long lifetime, and incredible exclusivities, or loose the way the XBox 1 (not one) did, with a premature death and not so many games in comparison. Even if it increase sales, it's hard to tell if it will sell significantly more than a GC, which is not good enough for MS.

I think XBO is virtually dead in Europe, except maybe UK. Specially in Germany where PC gaming is more common than most other places in the world, makes sense that the xb1 will be the most neglected console since it shares many games in common with the PC.

Not exactly. Europe, especially continental europe has always been Sony land since the ps1. Even last gen ps3 ended up winning against the 360. 

I wouldnt say people here are anti-xbox, though we are definitly more unforgiving when companies try to make fools out of us. Besides that, the Xbox is extremely oriented to the US market in services and exclusive software. Many of the conveniences the xbox has in the US simply are not available on most european countries. 

So, saying its anti something, i wouldnt say. But, there is a definite preference for Playstation (also the result of many years of sponsoring the champions league. The brand image fused with football to achieve bigger acceptance). The only chance that Xbox has is if just like the 360, it is considerably cheaper (100 euros).

The X1's, let's be honest, terrible performance in Europe and it's inevitable signifacnt contraction of install size in NA and UK (compared to 360) means I don't see it doing more than 45 million lifetime, at best.

People who think it'll do 50+, I honestly wonder where you think they'll get those sales
