when Wonderful 101 can do 300k lifetime, Bayonetta 2 should be able to do quite a bit more than that.

Well, TW101 is significantly overtracked in Japan (2013 sales 28k VGC; 14k MC) , and was overtracked back in April in the US (90.5k VGC; 74k NPD) and continued through June (104.5k VGC; 83k NPD).

It is probably around 200k or less right now, so 300k might be out of reach.

Expected. I knew it would not do great, but I did think it could last a bit longer above 1k, but next week it'll be below 1k.

Nah it'll make it to 200k in Japan -- likely due to strong word of mouth and strong legs of the high review scores along with Ninty's promotion and marketing of the game.

Not improbable. Bayo 2 had a similiar opening to Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, which has sold 110k copies in about 7-10 months in Japan. Over the next couple years, lifetime sales for that title will probably get to 200k. Why not Bayonetta 2?

Well, pretty much as I expected. Hoped for more surely, but it was crazy to set too much hopes into Bayo.
