You post that pic, but with the way some talk around here, you'd think MS doesn't care about losing, otherwise they would drop the price to $299. Quite an unrealistic line to draw for a company caring, while they ignore the constant 180s, cuts, and free game bundles.

And if those bundles aren't official, then most likely its the store doing them, not Sony.

Did you....completely ignore literally every sentence prior to the last one? People around here have been claiming that outselling the PS4 doesn't matter to MS and that they'll be fine as long as they sell well enough to make money off the XBone. Hence defensive posts to the tune of "just because it's not outselling the PS4 doesn't mean it's not selling well. XBone is doing fine, PS4 is just doing better" that have been said time and time again.

Profit or marketshare. It looks like MS, right now (not saying it'll be that way in the future), is having to sacrifice one for the other. But don't reply with that kind of sarcasm just because a popular opinion (well, popular amongst the Xbox crowd) around here got called out. These aggressive pricing moves clearly show they care more about raw units sold than they do profits (right now), yet since PS4 has been outselling XBone 3:1, you'd be hard pressed to find an Xbox fan with a differing opinion than "they'll just focus on making a profit"....which is what thiemeintiel's post was concerning.
