Will Lightning be a party member?

For what I gather from these last trailers, this game will be all style and no substance, and the story will be unbereable and unwatchable.
That said, I guess that, like FF13, it will sell well and most people will endure till the end. Then there will be 2 direct sequels with even worst and more ridiculous and flamboyant stories.
And those will sell a little less, but enough to make Square think we adore the whole farse.

Hopefully FFXV and its (confirmed) sequels won't be as amazing (;

If FFXV bust, we still have FFXIV to rely on :)

FFXV looks like a pretty promising game, so hopefully SE won't fuck up like they usually do!

Honestly, the 2011 trailer is still my favorite trailer followed closely by the E3 2013 trailer. My peak of hype for this game was after watching the 2011 trailer. I'm still pretty excited for this game though even after the FFXIII trilogy.

This is going to be the Duke Nukem Forever of RPGs, except it won't receive the same crappy ratings.

She is the final boss in the game. Noctis will have his revenge,  as she was the reason that he was kept in dark for so long.

Now that would be a serious turn of events.

AND a serious bad ass fight would ensue lol.
