Of course when I say anything simply not having enough console is OBVIOUSLY not it. They would love to say 'XBO sold out in china, mega super awesome demand' and they would have no reason not to ship enough.

This should come as a shock to no one. Sony just announced that the PS4 is selling twice as fast as PS2 in Asia, and in its pre-TGS show, showcase a plethora of titles coming to the Chinese market. Microsoft's statement acknowledges that their lineup needs to be enhanced. Considering that the console is $600 in CHINA with a limited catalog of titles,they really need offer beef up their lineup.

I dont think thats MS‘s call since some of us have already got our consoles earlier than 22nd.

Most of us suspect thats releated to state administration of press, publication, radio, film and television, the one that forbade PS2's advertisement years ago.

Perhaps they've seen the Destiny week figures, thought they could pick up the slack with China, realised that's not an option, and are now going to stuff the channels in the USA in order to: a) suddenly find form or b) get a decent 'sold' figure to take to their shareholders and offer to the press for misinterpretation.

This post is ridiculous .. I very much doubt they're surprised by Destiny's figures and to delaye in another country 3 days before launch so they can shift stock (which would have to be repackedg, shipped ect).
