Would not factor in digital sales, or people who buy used copies.
The real telling factor will be the sales performance of the future expansion packs in comparison to total software totals, everything else is speculative guesswork prone to bias.

Oh come on, it had the biggest alpha/beta phase in the history of videogames, it's not like the internet was devoid of impressions, or that people who preordered it were left in the dark until the day of release.
You just seem to hate the game on a personal level and are looking for ways to translate a relatively standard amount of negative discussion for a new title as people unanimously slating it.
The reality is most people enjoyed it and an extremely large portion are continuing to do so.
