You just have to look at the older trailers to see the differences...

And... There is no difference.

Directors can change and add whatever they like. This is not Nomura adding content or doing the finishing touches anymore. Do you understand that?

No. Not always. The game is still supposed to come out one day. At this point, the producers of the game won't allow Tabata to make decisions that would further push the release back. Do you understand that?

A demo is coming soon. How much changes do you think they can make to the game and have it properly work and be ready for that demo?
The way they described what the demo will be like, it's fair to assume that most of if is already done from a gameplay point of view, meaning that what is present in it was created under Nomura's direction. Do you understand that?

They're channelling Xenoblade so much it's almost embarassing.

Ok. Take a breath everyone. Now, I implore you to watch the amazing trailer again, appreciate that piece of art.

Also, the characters design fits perfectly in FF world, would anyone really prefer a bald space solder for a FF than usual "stylish and cool" design?

Unlike the western tendency of "scanning" real people into the games, In Japan most companies still draw the characters from imagination, and imagination tend to adds extra "beauty" to the things, giving you a perfect image and situation. It is just a different philosophy, more artistic.

Nice avarar, fits your mentality

While Nomura stepping down is kind of sad to see, it could be also a good thing, because we might finally be able to see the game release soon other than a "we will have something to show soon...in 3 years" type crap we have been getting for the last almost 8-9 years this game has been in development for.

Nomura wasn't responsible for his team members being allocated to other projects. ¬_¬
