Sony & Nintendo's first parties will help them survive without Uncharted/ Mario.

Obviously Nintendo. Losing Mario would be like Marvel losing Spider-Man ... probably worse honestly. Mario means more to Nintendo than even Mickey Mouse means to modern Disney.

Halo would be a massive loss to MS.

Uncharted while popular is not as big of a loss. To be honest Last of Us could probably step in and replace Uncharted as a franchise without much loss to Sony's bottom line. Losing a core third party IP like Final Fantasy or Metal Gear or GTA entirely would hurt Sony more.

Surprise Mario is winning this poll. Thought halo for sure. I want a wii u but not for Mario but then again I'm not that interested in halo either and I have an x1 xD

Sony would hardly notice it. They sold of two of their key IPs in the PSOne generation (Spyro and Crash), and it didn't do anything, and as mentioned, they're probably ending Unchaeted after 4 anyway.

Mario for sure and Halo in close second. Both Nintendo and Microsoft would of been no where near as successful without these series' and both have been there for their company from the start.

As good as Uncharted is, Sony launched the two most successful home consoles without the series and it wouldn't matter now. Although Uncharted certainly helped the PS3

Not only is Halo and Uncharted no where near as big and recognisable as Mario. But also no more Mario for Nintendo means no more Mario Kart, Mario RPGs, Mario sport games, Paper Mario, Mario Party...
