Forums - Nintendo - Both 3DS And Wii U Are Performing Poorly In The US. What Can Be Done?

Price cut to $199 would make the Wii U very attractive. And get the new 3DS here ASAP.

Confirming some release dates would help too.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

They can release Smash Bros. Problem solved

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Nintendo fans put way too much faith in one savior title.

"They can release Pokemon X/Y, 3DS will do great"

Pokemon X/Y releases ... 3DS continues to sell lower year over year and is so far having a terrible 2014 post Pokemon.

"They can release Mario Kart 8. Problem solved"

Wii U is back to sub-60k a few months after Mario Kart 8's launch.

This isn't a one (or even 2-3) Nintendo IP fix.

I swear I will buy a Wii U if Smash Bros is good enough. Judging by the 3DS demo, I suspect that both versions will be very good games.
