I can understand titanfall for being a bit flat of content since its a new ip but the  games above are all sequels.

so, what is going on??

I can tell you about the Sims 4 only, the thing is that the engine is completly new, like 100% from scratch new, even if it is a sequel everything was done again, models, gameplay scenarios, features, designs and so on. You can threat it like a new IP for all intent and purposes, so they left out a few features simply because they did not had the time or budget to include them, and they still need to make a profit for the game.

Atleast they're finally releasing Starwars Battlefront 3!

They were also OK during the early 2000s, but the 7th generation is when they became the evil corporation they are today! :S

Maybe, but Battlefield 1942, Vietnam, 2 and 2142 were terribly buggy at launch. And I don't want to talk about their Fifa Manager games...

I guess you're right, but they were still better back then than they are now!

The Sims 4 isn't exactly something I'd consider an EA Disaster though. It's pretty poor for a 2014 Sims base game, but it's not exactly a bad game.

FIFA 15 looks very good from the demo...

I guess what I'm looking forward to from them other than that (and why must they treat the Vita so badly...) is Dragon Age Inquisitor later this year {I may also pick up Madden cheap}

Then long term you've got Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge and the new Mass Effect. It's not all bad

N.B. I'm that one weird guy who had loads of fun in SimCity despite the small city size

No, no, no.

I'm not talking about dead space 3, army of two, their fifa reskinning-full price policy for wii etc.
I mean their core business: sports and ips like battlefield, sims, sim city. These print ,if well executed, tons of money!
The Devs of sims4 already talking about the franchise's end, while shipping a half-assed product.

I just feel that they are not next-gen yet. Activision handles the next-gen-transition with cod advanced warfare (just in time after ghost's relatively low sales) and destiny well. Enix is keeping up (ff14 more than 2 mio. players, smart western studio acquisitions), Ubi delivers with child of light, trials etc. and AAA titles like ac unity, far cry 4, the crew this holiday.

I'm not complaining about EA in general because I like and play their games. Actually, I care for them and am both, anrgy and dissapointed. They doesn't seem to invest in next gen except in the star wars ip.

Cause EA stands for Electronic Asses

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

They need to give their developers more time to finish the games. Early impressions and reviews are based on when the game is launched not when it is patched months down the line.

It's EA. What did you expect?
