If they don't like the singers it does NOT mean the game is bad..........

"Foreigners are probably thinking, 'Japan is so messed up,'"
He was right about that at least

I don't think it will effect sales of the game in a negative way.

I don't understand why, though. A commercial staring famous people?! You don't say!? If this were "messed up" then the whole world is in dire stra... fuck.

I wasn't thinking about the commercial, just in general.

I'm speaking of the comment with relation to the commercial, though. The response seems nonsensical to an entirely common practice and very simple, modest commercial. This isn't even the first time they've done this, Smash has been advertised by famous people in the past but now you can Mii your way in and, either said poster had no idea what a Mii was or they are really just grasping for something to feed the "Nintendont".

If people were going to think Japan is "messed up" it wouldn't be from this, it'd be from the Senran Kagura commercials during Sony's Pre-TGS show.

Didn't some westerners have a similar reaction to Snoop Dog being a part of some video games?

Popularity always comes with hate, I wouldn't look into this too deeply

So... some people are canceling their purchase based on a commercial? Wut...
